So in a fit of wanting to do something else beyond guest blogs posts and interviews for the Zeus Is Dead Tour, I got an idea in my head the other day and messed around in Photoshop in a way that was surely the most efficient use of time in the history of the UNIVERSE!
Bob’s Burgers fans may like this. The rest of you may just think I’m insane.
But let’s face it, most of you probably think that anyway, right? 😉
Because I like Photoshop, and, more importantly, because I CAN, I made this.
And, also, because why not?

My epic comedic fantasy novel Zeus Is Dead: A Monstrously Inconvenient Adventure released yesterday, and I’m still in the midst of all the craziness. (Seriously, I haven’t gotten much sleep yet.) Today I wanted to share some funny quote graphics from the book. These have been trickling out on Twitter and Facebook, but today I get to finally show you ALL of them in this nifty slideshow!
I’m really excited about this book! Fellow authors who received advanced copies have compared it to the work of Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett, and the early Amazon reviews so far are fantastic!
So I’ve got a full, full plate today getting ready for the big launch of Zeus Is Dead tomorrow, but I wanted to take a break from that and put up a few things that are completely unrelated. So here’s some stuff that, in my current mental state, I found amusing…

The third Zeus Is Dead behind-the-book featurette is now up on YouTube: an excerpt from Chapter Two, read by yours truly. I suppose, strictly speaking, this one isn’t BEHIND the book so much as it is THE BOOK, but the video has me reading from the book while holding it, so technically I’m behind the book, so… Yeah, close enough.
This is the third of four featurettes that will be publicly released. One more will be out on launch day (July 21st). There are, however, five more, but you’ll only be able to see those if you sign up for my newsletter! So go ahead, sign up, why not?
And now, me in my first ever public reading! (This is the first video we did, so you can probably tell I hadn’t really loosened up yet. I’m like Tracy – I prefer to be behind the scenes…)

So this one is a first for me, in a couple of ways. For one, it’s the first time I’ve done something like this at all. For another, it’s the first of a series of behind-the-book featurette videos related to Zeus Is Dead: A Monstrously Inconvenient Adventure that will be posted leading up to the book’s official release date on July 21st!
Only three of the nine featurettes will be publicly available. The rest will only be visible to those who’ve subscribed to my mailing list. But more about that in a few days.
