Whew, it’s been a busy few weeks here. I’ve been a bit slow in updating the blog, but I assure you it’s all for a good cause. There’s a lot happening on the Zeus is Dead front, which is what’s filling up most of my time, and most of that is due to the final edit on the manuscript itself. My Booktrope editor is giving me a lot of great comments and notes. It’s making the novel even better than it was, but it does mean that much of my time is taken up in reviewing and incorporating those notes into revisions. It’s fun (and it’s fantastic to work with someone as excited about the book as I am), but time consuming. Our deadline is April 15th, so I’m working hard to meet that.
Other time has been filled with discussions about the cover and other details, as well as revamping my website. I’ll be ready to unveil the website soon, and hopefully shortly after the 15th. There will be more info on my books there, especially Zeus is Dead (and some fun things you haven’t seen yet). The blog will, of course, continue.
I’m beginning to feel like Apollo feels in Zeus is Dead, though: the things I have to do are heaped around me in piles, and I’ve little time to keep up with my social network or do much that’s relaxing. But it’s worth it! My main regret is that I haven’t really had any time to do any writing on A Dragon at the Gate (the final book in the New Aeneid Cycle). I’m still hoping to do an early 2015 release on that one, but we’ll see how things go.
In the meantime, keep watching this blog! Here’s something amusing to tie you over…
